Homework Policy
Homework will generally be given once per week or once every other week. Homework can be written or non-written (studying, reviewing, etc). Written homework will count for 10% of your trimester grade. Often homework will include studying for a quiz or completing a review sheet in preparation for a quiz. When studying for a quiz, students can use the study strategies they learned in class or can use online resources such as Great Schools or Test Taking Tips.
Homework must be turned in at the beginning of class on the assigned day for full credit. Homework may be turned in one day late for a maximum of 80%. After one day past the due date, late homework will not be accepted.
When students do not have written homework, they have a year-long standing assignment to do something kind for someone else.
